Memorial Day Parade

Narberth’s Memorial Day Parade
MONDAY, MAY 30, 2022

Narberth’s Memorial Day Parade starts from the intersection of Windsor & Conway Avenues at 9:30 am.  Currently, we are looking for volunteers to help with the parade

Need at least 4 - 5 adult persons to help as “Parade Marshals” with the parade line-up from 8:00 am ‘til the start of the parade at 9:30 am, and then, walk along the parade route to help maintain order.  Safety Vests and Walkie-Talkies will be provided for the event. 

Also in need of 4 – 5 full size vehicles (CONVERTIBLES ONLY) to provide transportation for veterans who cannot walk the parade distance.

To help offset the cost of the parade for the marching bands,
DONATIONS are still being accepted and welcomed.

PARADE ROUTE

Staging Area:  Windsor Avenue, from Conway to N. Wynnewood Avenue and the 100 block of Conway Avenue.

- Parade starts at Windsor and Conway Avenues at 9:30 AM
- Travels up Conway Avenue to Price Avenue,
- Turns Right onto Price Avenue,
- Continues on Price Avenue, crosses Essex Avenue to N. Narberth Avenue,
- Turns Right onto N. Narberth Avenue,
- Turns Left onto Woodbine Avenue at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church,
- Turns Right onto Iona Avenue at Al’s Barber Shop to Haverford Avenue,
- Turns Right onto Haverford Avenue, STOP at the crest, near Grayling Avenue,
- Wait for further instruction to proceed down through the Narberth Business District,
- Turns Right onto Essex Avenue at Citizens Bank,
- Turns Left onto Windsor Avenue, end at the American Legion Post.

Parade ends at approximately 10:45 AM.
Distance:  1.4 miles
