Starting Monday October 16, Kehoe Paving will begin milling and overlay operations in Narberth’s downtown which is the final step in the utility construction sequence. Beginning on Haverford Ave at Avon Road, crews will repave the entire width of the road. The project will take two days to complete. On Monday, Haverford Ave from Avon Road to Forrest Ave and Narberth Ave from Haverford to the Narberth Avenue bridge will be completed. On Tuesday, Haverford Ave from Forrest to west of Essex Ave will be milled and repaved. Painting crews will restore all markings in the roadway. Work will begin at 8am and end by 5pm on each day. During this time the road must be closed to all traffic and all vehicles will need to be removed. The Narberth Police Department will attempt to contact the owners of any vehicle left on the road and the Borough will tow any vehicles that can’t be immediately removed to another location in the Borough.
