Narberth Community Events for Inside Out
Wednesday April 12, 11 am - Installation: Krain Outdoor Advertising will be installing the Narberth Art. At 11am they will be working on the installation of two pieces in Station Circle. Narberth officials will officially greet representatives from the museum and welcome them to the Borough.
Friday May 6, 7 pm - Official Public Launch & First Friday: Narberth’s First Friday in May is always special because the Borough celebrates the launch of NarbART month. For the month of May, shops and restaurants in downtown Narberth display original artwork, with a common theme, in their windows. This year's NarbART Month has a “Night” theme: think sunsets and starry nights, with owls, bats & night creatures, the moon and constellations, evening celebrations, and dancing like spirits in the night! On May 6, Narberth’s First Friday will also mark the launch of the Inside Out Project. There will be a ceremony for the official launch at 7pm in Station Circle. From 5pm to 9pm will be an especially festive First Friday, where locals stroll the downtown to see the art, and enjoy open houses in the shops, dinner and drink specials in the restaurants, and live music on the sidewalks.
Thursday-Saturday, May 12 to 14 - Spring Sidewalk Festival: The 2016 Spring Sidewalk Festival includes a Sidewalk Sale from Thursday May 12 to Saturday May 14, and the May 15 Spring Music & Arts Festival. See the Dance Xpress performance on Saturday, enjoy a weekend of Sidewalk Sales, and take the opportunity to see the Inside Out art installation throughout the Borough.
Sunday May 15, 2-7pm - Spring Music & Arts Festival: Join your friends and neighbors for an afternoon of fun in downtown Narberth. The Music and Arts Fest runs from 2pm to 7pm. It is a family event on Haverford Avenue featuring street food, drinks, and free live music all day. Artists Alley is right next door on Forrest Ave. This year's Spring Art and Music Festival is also a great time to explore the Inside Out artwork from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Six of the eleven pieces are within a block of the festival music stage!
