Narberth Sidewalk Festivals
Spring Sidewalk Festival 2017 - Thursday 5/4 - Saturday 5/6
The 2017 Narberth Spring Sidewalk Festival is a weekend full of family-friendly events and activities from May 4-6 in downtown Narberth, PA. The weekend includes a three-day Sidewalk Sale, First Friday activities, and the launch of NarbART Month.
Local merchants will have displays out for the Sidewalk Sale all day, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 4-6. The hot dogs and pretzels sale at station circle, during sidewalk sale days, is a Narberth tradition that goes back for decades. For the past several years, that sale has been run by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Narberth, with the help of John McShea.
On Friday night, May 5, local establishments will have dinner and drink specials, plus outdoor live music, if the weather permits. May is always special in Narberth because the Borough celebrates NarbART Month. Shops and restaurants display original artwork, with a common theme, in their windows. This year's NarbART Month has a “Beach” theme. The art exhibits, store sales, dinner and drink specials, plus unique beach-themed art displayed in shop windows should give you plenty of reasons to join your neighbors for a Friday evening stroll.
On Saturday, May 6, the young Dancexpress dancers will give their annual Station Circle performance at 11am, followed by a performance by the PA Academy of Ballet at 1pm. The sidewalk sale continues all day.
