The fourth annual Narberth Oktoberfest is being held on Saturday October 6, 2012, from 5 pm to 9pm under festival tents in Narberth Park.  The ticket price includes local beers, live music, and festival food, including a pig roast, turkey, pretzels, brats & sauerkraut, dessert, and more.  Proceeds benefit the Narberth Volunteer Fire Department and the Narberth Dickens Festival. Get more info by e-mailing info@narberthonline.com.

Is babysitting available?

Babysitting was available in limited quantities, but we are no longer taking registrations.  If you take your kids to Borough Hall, we cannot guarantee that we still have room for them.  We are sorry to those we have to turn away, but babysitting was very popular, and it was first-come first-served.  

Here are the guidelines for those who are already registered:

Members of the Harriton Girls Crew team will be providing babysitting in the big room at Borough Hall.  They are raising money for their team, so please make an appropriate and generous donation.  Kids will play games, have pizza, and watch a family-friendly movie while parents are around the corner enjoying Oktoberfest.  This service is for kids of all ages who are already potty-trained.  

Can we bring children or babies to the event?

No.  We cannot make exceptions to this rule, so please plan accordingly.

Are there any dishes besides Pork and Brats?

We also have turkey and a vegetarian option, as well as a number of side dishes.

Are there any beverages besides beer?

We'll have plenty of beer and bottled water,  For the non-beer drinkers, we'll also have some wine available. (And a few people even brought their own favorite wines last year.)

What if it rains?

The event is rain or shine.  These tents are designed to handle some rain, so we should stay dry underneath.    We actually had a bit of rain last year, and we hardly noticed it.

Do you accept credit cards?

Online sales are closed. 

Can we buy tickets at the door?

You can buy tickets at the door with cash only, while tickets last.  We know because of pre-sales that we will sell out quickly.  Get there early if you want to get in.
